Pleased to meet you. I’m Angus.
I started my career at Metropolis Studios in West London, quite some time ago. I formed a band & production collective with some co - workers and in 2000 we rented a room within the complex. We quickly managed to win our first couple of syncs for Mitsubishi & Siemens and established ourselves as composers whilst releasing vinyl, gigging and chasing the elusive big record deal.
Between 2008 & 2010 I toured Europe extensively as part of a DJ collective playing at some huge clubs and festivals along the way including Ministry and Fabric in London, Social Club in Paris & Razzmatazz in Barcelona.
During that same period I was an in house composer for a London / NY music company. I worked closely with AMV/BBDO and had music feature on syncs for Sony, Mars, National Lottery and Dell.
I set up Eamesmusic in 2011 which I run from my small but perfectly formed studio in South West London. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some truly inspirational creatives and I’m currently part of the team at DeadgoodStudios. A freelance collective who come together for special projects
I’m also music director of an immersive festival activation called WARS. We’ve taken our 7 piece electronic band and DJ Soundsystem to Glastonbury, Blue Dot and Boomtown over the past few summers. Live performance has always played a huge part in my career and I’m never happier than when I’m behind a bank of synths or a set of decks
I have a huge passion for creativity and collaboration Wether I’m in the studio or in a field and working with a band, a brand, a director, a songwriter or an agency, I love bringing ideas to life.
